BackgroundThe idea of a statewide coalition was first proposed in the fall of 1999, when discussions were taking place among State University System (SUS) member institutions about the recently mandated Parental Notification Policy. Representatives from SUS institutions got together to begin organizing the coalition in the summer of 2000 at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. Since that time additional meetings have been held at the University of Florida and Florida State University. |
